Moultrie News – Charleston chefs help March of Dimes raise $306K

On Nov. 8, more than 300 guests enjoyed the signature dishes of Charleston’s leading chefs during the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction, held at the Charleston Marriott Crystal Ballroom. The evening included a cocktail reception and gourmet samplings from area restaurants while guests bid on silent auction items. A live auction of exciting culinary and travel packages followed. Matthew Niessner, Executive Chef of Hall Management Group served as Lead Chef, and Bill Hall of Hall Management Group was the Chairperson for the event.

Guests were moved by the impact the March of Dimes has had on the Feals family, from Charleston. The Feals’ daughter, Kennedy, was born at 27 weeks and six days. Kennedy, spent 12 weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit before she was healthy enough to be taken home. Today, Kennedy is a healthy, active toddler.
