We have NEVER been to a resturant that made us feel like home! My husband and I were in town celebrating our 17th anniversary and we were not only greeted with such charm by the host and hostess, but the owner and his mother!!! The owner brought us a glass of champagne to start our celebration off! Everyone from the host and hostess to the wait staff was wonderful and made us feel at home and comfortable. All of the suggested foods were EXCELLENT. We WILL be back!! Thanks, Halls!!!

Our experience for my 60th Birthday was amazing. We were met at the front door by the owner, who welcomed us. The food was wonderful to say the least. Atmosphere was a 10, and our waiter was on top of everything. I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. My wife and I each received a complimentary glass of champagne. And we were also treated to free desert. As we were leaving the owner shook our hands again. And thanked us for our choice in dining. Well I was stunned that he greeted, and was also at the door for our farewell. But the story doesn't end there. We returned to Arizona a week later and received an envelope in the mail. The return address was from Charleston SC, at the Halls Chophouse. Inside was a "hand written" note on a card from the owner! He thanked both of us for spending an evening with them to celebrate my birthday. He said that he would love to see us again, and hoped Charleston had treated us well. If you ever get a chance to dine at this wonderful establishment. Then cancel any plans you might have and do not hesitate to enjoy some of this worlds finest food and hospitality. Next time I'm in Charleston to visit my daughter. I will make every effort to try and spend another great evening at Halls Chophouse. Ed McKenna
